Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) are heterogeneous neoplasms with a relatively low but increasing incidence, mainly due to the difficulty in diagnosing this disease in its early stages. This notably complicates the treatment of this pathology and leads to a poor prognosis.
